Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education
The KCAAEN brings together educators, school administrators, parents, cultural
leaders, and citizens from across the nation. KCAAEN seeks to advance the quality of
education through the inclusion of the arts in the curriculum. The Center supports the
growth and development of the Network and the efforts of participating State Alliances
through staff consultation, professional development, grant support, and other resources.
NAEA - the National Art Education Association
NAEA includes 20,000 art educators from every level of instruction: early childhood,
elementary, intermediate, secondary, college and university, administration, museum
education, lifelong learning - also publishers, manufacturers and suppliers of art
materials, parents, students, retired teachers, arts councils, schools - anyone and
everyone concerned about quality art education in our schools.
New York Foundation for the Arts
The New York Foundation for the Arts' mission is to empower artists at critical stages
in their creative lives. NYFA's ability to provide Fiscal Sponsorship to individual artists
and emerging organizations was established in 1976, and NYFA currently sponsors

Artsedge at the Kennedy Center
ARTSEDGE supports the placement of the arts at the center of the curriculum and
advocates creative use of technology to enhance the K-12 educational experience.
ARTSEDGE offers free, standards-based teaching materials for use in and out of the
classroom, as well as professional development resources, student materials, and
guidelines for arts-based instruction and assessment.
